Alternator
Meccalte EC series brushless alternators. Compliance standards: IEC34-1, CEI2-3, BS4999-5000, VDE0530. Choice of single or three phase and 50 or 60Hz. | Voltage regulation
Maintained within ± 1% with load from 1-100%, speed from -2% to +5% and power factor 0.8 to 1% and balanced load. Electronic engine speed control keeps engine speed ± 2%. | Voltage
Stock alternators are 12-wire and normally supplied for single phase 120V-60Hz or 230V- 50Hz, or for 3 phase 230V-60Hz or 400V-50Hz, but can be reconnected to other configurations and the voltage adjusted ± 10% by means of the regulation screw. Alternators supplied as 3-phase will have only 60% power output if re-connected as single phase, unbalanced.
